ANACONDA SNAKE

The Anaconda Snake is one of the largest and most powerful snakes in the world! Anacondas are usually brown, yellow, or green in color. The average length of this snake is 20 feet and its average weight is 330 pounds! Anacondas have flexible jaws and can open their mouths VERY wide!

Anacondas live in the rainforests of South America. They usually stay on the forest floor, which is the lowest part of the rainforest. They are great swimmers, and usually stay in the water. They will eat anything from small fish to large mammals. They sleep during the day and hunt at night. Anacondas are feared in the rainforest because they are so strong. When hunting, these snakes will wrap around their prey and squeeze them to death!
